And that could be for that day or for a lifetime.”   This AMC series follows Walter White, high school chemistry teacher, emasculated at home, disrespected by his students, and bullied by his boss. When he learns he has terminal lung cancer and no means to pay for treatments or support his family, he decides to apply his lab know-how and team up with his former student, Jesse Pinkman, to cook crystal meth.  What follows is a roller coaster ride to the bottom, with a widening circle of collateral damage. This is intense material, not for the faint of heart, but  the arc of Walters transformation into his drug lord alter ego, Heisenberg, is masterfully executed.
