Cutting the fat?

cowIn our last post, I mentioned our excellent public affairs journals.   Here’s an article from the May 3rd Wall Street Journal Weekly.  In “Fat Reconsidered“,  Nina Teicholz  looks at new evidence  which suggests that saturated fat may not be a cause of heart disease.  She also points out the shaky research footings on the old consensus. Look in the Review section of the WSJ for more articles like this one.

Meanwhile, The Citizen had a timely piece on Lyme disease, Scientific American looked at the how habits get formed The Atlantic has an update on GMOs.  All more reason to make a stop at our newsstand part of your weekly trip to the library.
