2014 Community Read

pieNHHC40thAnniversaryLogoTealCelebrate New Hampshire as we read and discuss Live Free and Eat Pie by NH’s own Rebecca Rule as part of our 2014 community read. “Live Free and Eat Pie” affirms our common bonds and heritage through the medium of storytelling.   Participants can meet to discuss “Live Free and Eat Pie” on October 20th and 22nd, and enjoy a performance by storyteller and songwriter Don Watson On October 23rd.   Finally, Ms. Rule will appear at Interlakes School on November 2nd to share some of her stories and answer questions.   Lakes Region Reads is sponsored by the Scrooge and Marley Coop, with support from the NH Humanities Council, which named this program a 40th Anniversary Signature Grant Project.
