New dramas on DVD at the Nichols Library. “Gone girl” is the anticpated film adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s runaway bestseller.  When a man’s wife (Rosamund Pike) goes missing, he (Ben Affleck) is suspected of wrongdoing.   In “Love is Strange,”  a gay couple (John Lithgow and Alfred Molina) must sell their apartment and temporarily live apart until they can find an affordable new home.  In “Blood Simple, the Texas noir drama made the Coen Brothers, a saloon keeper hires a hit man to deal with his cheating wife (Frances Madormand).
