Now that it’s officially summer, the Nichols Library in Center Harbor wants patrons to know about things to do in Center Harbor. Once again, the library is offering passes to Castle in the Clouds and the Squam Lakes Science Center.  We also added a pass to the Remick Museum and Farm. Home to two generations of country doctors, the farm is now a museum with exhibits on rural medicine and remedies and classes on crafts, animal care and sustainability. The Remick pass admits one family free daily.  Any of our passes can be reserved in advance by phone or email.    An activity closer to home is the library’s weekly  pre-school story hour.  Our group meets at 11:00 on Fridays to share a couple of stories and songs.  And our town’s Parks and Rec department has many activities planned–you can download the Parks & Rec brochure here, which covers the town beach, swim lessons, the boat launch, trails, crafts and concerts.
