The town’s 4th of July celebration begins with CH’s 37th 4th of July Foot Race.  Runners need to register online here before noon on Friday July 3rd. There is a $25 fee for adult participants; kids race free.   The town can use some volunteers to help with the race. You can sign up to help out here.  Runners–plan on arriving to register between 8:00-9:30 AM on race day. The Kids race starts@ 9:00am; the adult 2 & 5 Mile races start @10:00am. Here is a map of the course for you to preview. The Center Harbor Town Parade starts from Chase Circle at 2pm.  Line-up and judging begins @1:30. This years theme is “NH The Granite State”.  The 4th of July Concert @ the town bandstand  starts at 7pm, It will feature the Center harbor Town Band, directed by Carlos Martinez. Finally, the Fireworks display over the Harbor will start  9:15 PM (in case of rain, the concert & fireworks will be held on Sunday, July 5th). A complete schedule of events can be downloaded here.
