trueThere are several new DVD’s at the library available for home screening.   “True Story” is a taut thriller a reporter who tries to restore his reputation by interviewing a murderer on the run who has adopted the reporter’s identity.  “Love and Mercy details the creative and personal struggles of beach Boy brain Wilson.  “Olive Kitteridge” is a drama about a retired schoolteacher whose bouts of  depression and jealousy have created friction with family friends.  In the foruth season of “Homeland,  capable but troubled CIA opp Carrie Mathisin investigates an attack on a terrorist target that has gone badly wrong. “Crimson Field”, a BBC mini-series about British nurses serving in France during World War One, should appeal to Downton Abbey fans.  Finally, “Poldark”, another BBC series, is  about a soldier who returns to Britain to find his father dead, his estate in ruins and his fiancé engaged to another man.
