Just in: mysteries

devilNew crime novels from Margaret Coel, J. A. Jance and the Robert B. Parker franchise. In  Coel’s “The Man who Fell from the Sky“, an anonymous caller claims to be a witness to a murder of a man seeking Butch Cassidy’s hidden stash.  In Jance’s  “Dance of the Bones“, sherriff Brandon Walker re-opens a murder case when he comes to believe that an innocent man was put away.   And in “The Devils Bridge“,  Jesse Stone  discovers the bodies of two 16-year-olds who had vanished about 25 years earlier.  Reed Farrel Coleman, who took over the Jesse Stone stories last year, his said to be doing a “solid” job in channeling the late Robert B. Parker.
