Science as poetry

Do not be daunted by the title  of  Seven Brief Lessons on Physics by Carlo Rovelli.  No hard core science here, just seven brief essays on the joy of discovery.  Rovelli cautions that the scientist’s quest is not for unchanging laws nature but to gain understanding of how the universe unfolds.   “This beautiful little book shows that science, with its curiosity, its intense engagement with what there really is, its readiness to jettison received ways of seeing, is a kind of poetry too (Financial Times)”.
