Traveling Classics

dvdsDid you know the Nichols Library is a member of a DVD coop that shares classic movies?  The Scrooge and Marley Coop, composed of Lakes Region libraries, has built a collection of 300 plus DVDs that it shares among members.   Each set of DVDs contains a mix that includes award winning pictures, foreign films, indie features and classics.

Sets rotate among member libraries every two months. The current set at the Nichols Library, here through the end of April, contains some must-see features. (Btw, why Scrooge and Marely?  It’s stands for Service Centers Regionally Organized to Overcome Growing Expenses and Make Available Revenues for Libraries to enlarge their Yield.”).
