Jobs is a biographical film on the life of Apple Exec Steve Jobs (Michael Fassbender). Loosely based on the biography by Walter Isaacson, the film is structured into three acts. Each act taking places immediately prior to the launch of a key product – the Apple Macintosh, the NeXT Computer and the iMac. Critics were not overwhelmed by the film. IT’s ‘fine’ said one, a word that Jobs would say was “the worst thing you can say”about an Apple product. Isaacson’s bio, on the other hand, which we have in print and on CD, is well worth seeking out. Jobs was fascinating, if at times difficult person; Isaacson got well inside his head.
