The library‘s latest piece of series fiction is Extreme Prey (print and CD) by John Sandford   (L. Davenport #26 in our new shelf label system). Inspector Davenport, no longer working for the Minnesota BCA, is asked to “look into something” for a friend who is currently in the running for President.   That little something turns out to be an assignation threat. “Sandford has always been at the top of any list of great mystery writers … and the appeal of his lead character are as fresh as ever (Huffington Post).
