More summer reads

beach_readThe queen is back!  “Here’s to Us” by Elin Hilderbrand, queen of the summer beach read,  spins a tale about a  celebrity chef’s widow, who gather s his ex-wives and  children for a last farewell at –where else—Nantucket.  “The Cavendon Luck” by Barbara Taylor Bradford carries this family saga into the World War Two era.   No beach, but plenty  of Drama with a capitol D.   In “His Majesty’s Hope” by Susan Elia MacNeal, special agent Maggie Hope embarks on her most hazardous mission, to drop into Germany and plant a bug at the home of a prominent Nazi.
