“Our future depends on Libraries”

Popular author Neil Gaiman  makes an “impassioned plea for people to understand what libraries and librarians are, and to preserve both of these things.”  He worries people misunderstand what libraries are.   If, he says ” you perceive a library as a shelf of books, it may seem antiquated.”  But if you see the, has he does, as places to expand your imagination and your mental horizons, then libraries become a place to “help these people navigate that world.”  Well worth the few minutes it takes to check it out.
