Fredrik Backman, author of book group favorite A Man Called Ove, is back with a new story, Beartown.  The titular community is a small town in decline. But their junior ice hockey team is about to compete in the national semi-finals.  Winning would put Beartown back on the map.  But the goal may slip away as a raucous team party gets out of hand.  Says the Times, “Backman’s rich characters steal the show.”
