“Queen of the Desert”  is based on the life of Gertrude Bell, the English adventuress whose travels in the middle east were  the stuff of legend.   In “Beatriz at Dinner”, opposites collide at an LA dinner party.  In “The Dinner”, two couples meet at a restaurant to try to figure out what to about their sons, who have just committed a crime.   “ The Book of Henry”  is a light-hearted story about a quirky eight-year hold who is the glue that keeps his family together.  “Landline” (Edie Falco) is a family drama about secrets and lies.  In “Paris can Wait”, a woman goes on a jaunt with her husband’s business partner.  In “The Survivalist”, a mother and daughter seek shelter with a loner.  “The Wizard of Lies” is a dram based on the Bernie Madhoff scandal.
