In “Kingdom of the Blind” by Louse Penny, former inspector Gamache  is named as an executor of a will by a perfect stranger.   The terms are so wildly unusual  that he wonders f the woman is delusional.  That is, until a crime gives the will a new twist.  “The decisions he makes are sure to raise a few eyebrows” (Kirkus Reviews).
