In “An Anonymous Girl” by Greer Hendricks, a young woman signs up for a routine psychology study. But as the questions grow more invasive and the sessions become outings, she begins to wonder just what kind of game is afoot. In “The Suspect” by Fiona Barton, two British teenage girls go missing in following a hostel fire. Journalist Kate Waters is sent to cover he story; to her shock, she finds that the main person of interest is her son. Good edge of your seat stuff.
