In July, 2016, the Nichols Library received 19 inter-library loans in one week, a haul that surpassed the previous record of 16 deliveries made in 2014.   We wondered if we ever get to twenty. Well, last Friday, it happened! The van from the NH State Library dropped off a bin with twenty items. Inside were book club picks, crime series chapters, a stack of DVDs, and three non-fiction books (no audio CDs this time, but we can get those, too).  This is a great service, just waiting there for you all to take advantage of.   If there is a book you want to read, a DVD you want to see or a CD to listen to that we do not own, we can get it for you, often in the space of a week.  It’s no trouble at all. All you have to do is ask!
