Books seeking new homes this July 4th

Many gently used books from the shelves of the Nichols Memorial Library in Center Harbor are looking for new homes. On July 4th, from 8:30am to noon, the Library will offer these wonderful books up for adoption to loving bookworms and caring bibliophiles of all ages. There is no fee to adopt a book (or two or three) to bring home with you, but donations would be welcomed.  Permanent book adoptions are preferred, but you may foster home your books for a time and then share them with your book-loving friends. We will have books for both children and adults.

Browsers can peruse our books while cheering on runners in the 41st Annual Center Harbor Footrace. Perfect for summer reading on the beach, these slightly worn books will be eagerly waiting to meet you on the front lawn of the Nichols Memorial Library, 35 Plymouth Street in Center Harbor. For more information, please call the Library at 603-253-6950
