The Bookshop on the Shore” offers Jenny Colgan’s trademark mix of heartbreak and redemption, this time for a messed up family trying to start over tin the Scottish highlands. “Queen Bee” by Dorthea Barton Frank takes the same general idea, but sets it in her trademark Carolina Low country.    Want something more gripping? In “Such a Perfect Wife’ by Kate White, a wife sets off her “me time” jog –and doesn’t come back.   Is her husband lying when he says he has no clue where she is? Or did she split on her own?  True crime writer Bailey Weggins heads north to report on the mysterious disappearance.  “On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous” i a “shattering portrait of a family’  by first time novelist Ocean Vuong. As Tolstoy said, “every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.”  “
