In “Shamed” by Linda Castillo, Kate Burkholder races against the clock to find a missing Amish girl.  The girl’s family is well thought in the Amish community, but Kate suspects they are keeping secrets.  In “Tom Clancy Enemy Contact”by Mike Madden, Jack Ryan Jr investigates a mole who is leaking CIA secrets.  And in “Tailspin” by Sandra Brown, an independent flyer is tasked to deliver a McGuffin to a doctor, no questions asked, only to be met at the rendezvous by a mysterious lady. These are all fast-paced and plot-driven. Nothing extra.
