In “The Public”, a city library becomes battleground over homeless people seeking shelter during a winter emergency. In “The Best of Enemies”, a civil rights activist and a Klansman seek common ground over school integration. “Hotel Mumbai” dramatizes the notorious 2008 terrorist attack on the Taj Mahal Hotel. In “Fast Color”, a woman haunted by mysterious forces flees to her family farmhouse while being pursued by a local sheriff. There, she must mend broken relationships and unearth the power within her. “Mia and the White Lion” is a coming of age story about a girl and singular lion cub who run away on an epic trek across the African savanna.
A Message from the Nichols Library Board of Trustees on Reopening the Library.As you may have heard, the Governor recently announced that libraries, among other services and businesses, may reopen on June 15th. What you may not know is that the Governors’ Economic Reopening Task Force has issued guidelines specific for libraries.
