New DVDs at the Nichols Library include “Dumbo”, Tim Burton’s take on the Disney story about the baby elephant that could fly. In “The Public”, a city library becomes battleground over homeless people seeking shelter during a winter emergency.  In “The Best of Enemies”, a civil rights activist and a Klansman seek common ground over school integration.  “Hotel Mumbai”  dramatizes the notorious 2008 terrorist attack on the Taj Mahal Hotel.  In “Fast Color”, a woman haunted by mysterious forces flees  to her family farmhouse   while being pursued by a local sheriff. There, she must mend  broken relationships  and unearth the  power within her.  “Mia and the White Lion” is a coming of age story about a girl and singular lion cub who run away on an epic trek across the African savanna.
