No Longer Hidden

Katherine Johnson, one of the black women mathematicians at NASA know as the “human computers”, died today at 101. Her work work was critical to the development of the space program and broke both racial and gender barriers. Her story was celebrated in the 2016 movie Hidden Figures and the book of the same title.
