
Carl Hansen, author of the eco-thriller Destiny (2015), will be at the Nichols Library in Center Harbor on Saturday, March 14 at 11:00am. Carl will talking about his novel, its underlying concerns, and the writing process. In Destiny, a researcher develops a bacterium to neutralize oil spills. When a military contractor tests it for the first time, something goes horribly wrong. Carl brings to his writing the diverse perspectives of a technician, cabinetmaker, musician and sailor. Lite refreshments will be provided.
