Hello!

I would like to introduce myself as the new Director of this library! My name is Aisilyn and I am a New Hampshire native, now residing in Maine. I earned my Bachelor’s in History from Plymouth State University, where I worked at the Museum of the White Mountains under the direction of the Archivist and took part in several projects dedicated to sharing and preserving White Mountain history. As part of my studies, I also worked on a research project specifically focused on Center Harbor history and the town’s involvement in hosting the first Intercollegiate Sporting event in the country! I later earned my Master’s in Library Information Science and Technology from Simmons, which I finished earlier this year. I am excited to be back in the mountains and to get to know the community!

With that said, I would also like to announce the Library’s new hours! We are open Monday and Tuesday from 10AM to 6 PM, Thursday from 9AM to 1PM, and Friday and Saturday from 10AM to 1PM.

Please stop in, say hi and maybe grab a good book to cozy up with as we welcome the winter weather!
