Kanopy provides access to over 30,000 indie movies, educational programs, documentaries and kids videos! Patrons have up to 7 Kanopy plays a month. The library is charged for each item use, so browse and view conscientiously. Link here to find out how to get started on Kanopy.
To get started on Kanopy, 1) link to the Center Harbor login page (centerharborlibrary.kanopy.com). 2) Once there, enter your library card number where it says LOG IN TO CENTERHARBORLIBRARY. You then need to 3) Create your account. when prompted. You can login with your Google or Facebook account, or create a new account by entering an email address and a password. Once your account is created, you can use it at the login prompt on the upper right of the Kanopy page.
Watching Kanopy on TV. If you have a smart TV, you can connect a computer, phone or tablet directly with an HDMI cable or remotely using Airplay (Apple), AllCast (Android) or Chromecast (Chrome). Another alternative is to activate the Hoopla app on sticks or boxes like Roku or Amazon Fire.
