Services for persons with access issues and disabilities

The library provides a book delivery service for patrons unable to access the library. Drivers from Altrusia of Meredith deliver and pick-up materials every two weeks. Borrowers can choose from books, magazines, large type books, audio CDs or DVDs.The Library will assist you with selections and answer any questions you might have about the program.

The Library can arrange for borrowing privileges at neighboring libraries for patrons who are unable to access the library.

For the vision impaired, the Library offers large print books,  audio CDs and access to the State’s Talking Books program.

Hearing impaired patrons get help through  the NE Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services (NDHHS).
